If you like a dynamic ride, Sport Chassis Control is made for you. This includes adjustable shock absorbers with two modes – Normal and Sport. The dynamic Sport mode delivers firmer features for a sportier experience and more intense connection to the road. The system always comes with Driving Mode Select.

Driving Mode Select allows you to set the car’s parameters and behaviour to your needs or mood. The main principle is that there are four driving modes to choose from: Normal, Sport, Eco and Individual. These modes adjust the settings of the engine, the DSG gearbox, the Sport Chassis Control, power steering, air-conditioning, etc.

The Škoda Kamiq comes exclusively with petrol engines that meet the latest emission standards. Whereas the four-cylinder 1.5 TSI EVO2 engines have proved their mettle in other Škoda models, the three-cylinder 1.0 TSI EVO2 engines are completely new. All the revised EVO2 units deliver increased efficiency and lower consumption. The top-of-the-range 1.5 TSI EVO2 engine enables the Škoda Kamiq to deliver 110 kW and achieve maximum torque of 250 Nm.

Most of the Kamiq’s engine set-ups feature an automatic transmission – the DSG. The DSG is an automatic gearbox equipped with two independent gearboxes and clutches. Its main advantages include the ability to change gears smoothly at lightning speeds, while keeping to low fuel consumption. The Kamiq can be fitted with a steering wheel with DSG shift controls for the ultimate driving experience.
